I love hearing the UPS truck rumble up our road- a sound that's been steady this month. Unfortunately for the 4-year-old in me, most of the cheer it brings is holiday related, and thus isn't to be enjoyed until December 25th at around 5:30 a.m. (about two hours before I'd even consider getting up on the usual non-work day). But to my delight, one recent delivery included a sample signature album that I hadn't expected to arrive so soon. Kudos to my album company for their lighting-fast turnaround times! And after oohing and ahhing and caressing, I grabbed a few shots of it to share with you here as an early holiday treat.
The sample showcases Leslie and David's Rangeley, Maine wedding, one of my favorites of this past summer season and which I featured on my blog back in August. And I am so excited to take it up to the Loon Lodge where the wedding was held to show it off when I am up in Rangeley for Christmas later this week.
The album cover is actually printed metal, with an olive leather trim. How cool is that?
I love the square spines of these albums. And that green! Delicious!
An interior spread of images from the rehearsal dinner's sunset lobster bake.
Images like these are why this signature album was invented! Or is it the other way around? Because the album has creased pages instead of cut ones, I can design the albums with full pages spreads - that's two feet across- without a visual or literal hitch.
More ceremony.
A favorite series spread.
Perhaps my most beloved image of 2008. The black and white image was on the metal album cover, and this color version was showcased in an interior spread that is jawdropping when you see it firsthand.
And here are some other layouts from the album.
