Watch Me at Work
Meg Simone, the fantastic New Hampshire videographer I worked with at Lani and Steve's wedding, just sent me this collage of video clips she made of me working some of the formals at the wedding. It's a bit surreal to watch myself at work, especially setting up a group shot of 101 people or trying to capture the shot Lani requested of the wedding party walking down what we discovered was the tiniest sliver of a beach but I thought I'd share it here for a good chuckle (I am the one in the pink shirt, with the camera)!
What I love about Meg's work is she is very unobtrusive, like I strive to be (though in my case, that might not be apparent here- the formals are the one exception to my fly-on-the-wall approach). I honestly didn't even know Meg was there let alone filming during any of these clips, which is a testament to her weddingside manner. She's also a total blast to be around, and turned Lani and Steve's video around in less than two weeks so they could take it to Canada to show Steve's dad who couldn't be at the wedding as he's currently undergoing cancer treatment. Wow, Meg!
Glad our new boating buddies and 2007 bride and groom Ashley and Greg make a cameo. Looking good as always, guys!
