In the past three weeks, I've driven more than 1,500 miles to photograph six weddings and despite the fact that we moved to Portland in the middle of that period, I've actually been doing a fairly admirable job keeping up with my post-processing and album design. Three of those six couples have already received their image galleries, slideshows and album proofs, and by this time next week, I'll be completely caught up. Wow!!! (A huge thanks to Kyle for his constant encouragement and patience with me during this most busy stretch of my season!)

My inspiration to keep pace is that I have the pleasure of working with the coolest, most considerate couples. Already, all six of those I've photographed during this period have taken the time during their own post-wedding commotion to send me their thanks. Each time I log into my email, I am greeted by another sweet note, some written from airport waiting areas by those about to board flights to tropical honeymoon locales. I am bowled over by each couple's thoughtfulness, and I wanted to share their informal testimonials with you here. (I'll add their words and their imagery to the new Samantha Warren Weddings Website when I get a free moment.)

Emily and Liam, July 19 in York/Cape Neddick: "Oh my goodness, we just looked through ALL 1200+ photos and we just LOVE them! We really enjoyed the slideshow- and the album is just to die for- WOW! We couldn't believe that we just kept finding more and more favorites hidden in all of the photos! I'll definitely be looking through them many more times in the days to come. You caught a lot of things that we didn't even know about, and also brought back a lot of the memories of the day. We are so impressed that you were everywhere on the day... even through the rain (thunder/lightning/ hail/craziness!) you were right there snapping away... just amazing. What a wonderful job.
